2002 Chair of the San Diego County Bar, Immigration Section
Educate members on recent developments in all aspects of immigration law, and provides a vehicle for the immigration bar to communicate with the general public, government agencies and other interested professional groups. Presented ten different monthly "brown bag lunch" discussions with topics such as Paroles and Bonds, Asylum Law, Aggravated Felons and the Immigration Law.
2002 AILA Liaison Committee with the San Diego Immigration Court
Organize and conduct regular liaison meetings between the AILA membership and the San Diego Immigration Court with the assistance of the committee members. Present agenda items and responses from the Court to the AILA membership.
